A Camping made from campers for campers, Camping Elizabeth was founded in 1964 and is the oldest campsite on Crete. Situated in the heart of Crete, at the beautiful town of Rethymno, driving to historical places such as Knossos, Phestos, as well as the cities of Heraklio and Chania will never take longer than 90 minutes. Right on the 11 km beach of Rethymo, the largest on the island of Crete, walking to the city center is 45 minutes (4 km). Under 400 shady trees, there is plenty of space to enjoy a relaxed stay.
Our facilities include hot water for shower, ice-cold drinking water, place to wash your clothes including washing machine, wifi almost all over the camping and a cosy restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Finally, with the help of our willing and friendly team a good beginning for an exceptional Cretan experience is guaranteed.
