Getting to the camp can be easily be done by car, private bus, public bus or taxi. From both airports (Or sea ports).
If you are landing in Chania airport, then if you are lucky enough you might catch one of the 5 daily express buses to Rethymno city. Check out the website for more information on the timetables (Cost appr.9 euro/person/way). Other wise you can take the city bus to Chania city and from there the hourly bus to Rethymno city. From Rethymno city, buy a bus ticket (1,10 euro) from the station walk to the main road, and take bus number 10 or 20, while asking the busdriver to let you off on the Camping Elizabeth stop. At the stop look for a yellow sign of ours and head down the dirt road to find us on the beach.
From Heraklio airport there are not any express buses, so you buy a ticket and take the city bus to Heraklio main bus station. There are hourly buses there to Rethymno city and if the driver is kind enough then he will let you off (if you tell him) just at camping Elizabeth's yellow road sign from which you have to walk towards the beach and find us. If for some reason he/she doesn't then get off at the end of the line (Rethymno city) and follow the same instructions as above as to how to get to the Camp.
If you would like a private bus shuttle, a rental car or taxi to bring you and even take you back to the airport, please contact us and we can arrange it for you.
